I need help with Sims 3 please?
i have a very expensive house in the sims, but all the youngsters have left or aged, now i am faced with looking after a few elders. i dont want to lose the house (which has 7 beds and a swimming pool) because everyone dies and i have to start over again.
Is there a way of inviting young adults to share my house, without actually marrying them? (They are hardly likely to want a serious relationship with a grey haired old git.)
Actually, I had an evil idea. I managed to get the youngest of my household to flirt with a young adult enough to propose marriage, then have a private wedding and the youngster moved in.
Then she went to the eating houses and met as many young adults as she could find, invited them to a couple of parties and increased friendship.
The big problem was that the old folk in the house just appear out of nowhere to listen to convos. So, I managed to invite one youngster for a sleepover then the next morning I sent all the oldies to the beach.
Result, an empty house and a naughty affair can blossom very nicely indeed.
I love this game.

There's a cheat that will allow u to add/remove sims to/from your home without having to mess with relationships. Press control shift c to open the cheat log. Then type testingcheatsenabled true. Then click shift and click on the mailbox with the mouse. That should bring up that selction and more. To turn the cheat off u open the cheat log and type testingcheatsenabled false. It should work :) I believe you can even summon sims to the lot with the mailbox cheat. Www.modthesims2.com has an entire list of cheats that becomes really valuable when it comes to making game play easier.

PC or console? cant you just go to a public place, make friends with someone, and invite them over and ask them to move in? I havent played sims 3 in a while, but i think you can.
