Does this sound like a spider bite?
I was just on vacation with my family at the beach. The house we stayed in did seem to have a lot of spiders in it. And I did notice a jumping spider crawling on my walls, but I didn't kill it, but anyway I slept on the top bunk and on the second to last night there were these itchy small red bumps all over my knees, thighs, shins and the back of my knees. (My sister, who slept on the bottom bunk had nothing.) Once I stopped itching them though, they seemed to fade away, but later the itching would Start again and they would be visible again. My armpits also got itchy, but there weren't any bumps. On the last night, I woke up in the middle of the night and my hands were itching really bad, it felt like they were burning, and it was only itchy in between my fingers and on the top of my hands. I forced myself to stop itching though and it stopped after maybe 5 minutes. Today though, all the bumps are gone on my legs, and they only itched this morning before we left the vacation house, once we left, my legs stopped itching all together, but now I have noticed bumps on the side of my neck. They aren't red, they're just little bumps. I asked my mom and she said it looked like spider bites. I'm home now so hopefully I won't see any more, but does that sound like those are from spiders, or something else? XP

Hi Syd, I was thinking allergies, but your other answers are valid, too. When I read the one about the bedbugs and chiggers, I wondered what part of the country you are in, because that would be a clue about whether or not bedbugs or chiggers were in your bed. Some parts of the country don't have those kinds of creatures. Other parts of the country have other kinds of creatures.
At any rate, if it gets better now that you are home it was a problem with where you were staying, not where you are at - thank heavens. It does not sound like spider bites.
Hope you feel better. You could also try some aloe vera on your skin. It is an excellent remedy for skin irritations.

this very possibly could be a spider bite,if you were to trap one between your collar and neck, they could bite multiple times. unless this was a very large spider, you would need a Lupe or microscope to see punctures from a spiders chelicrae. the white dots may be separate bites. the most common appearance is a small red spot with some minor swelling at the site.this would be accompanied with a mild pain and itch. many spider bites go completely unnoticed, where others may develop pain after the venom spreads in the wound. some spiders can inflict a rather painful bite(fire ant,bee sting). best remedy for non poisonous spiders(and many insects) wash with soap/water apply a topical antibiotic ointment to help prevent infection.a topical antihistamine should help the itch. the pix of the 'really bad bites' on the net,are almost 'never' spider venom related.

Sounds more like fleas chiggers or bed bugs to me but more than likely chiggers. They are teeny tiny little red bugs that bite and leave red itchy marks. You should use calamine lotion on the bumps and take some benedryl. Hope this helps.
