should i wait till ipod touch 5g or shall i get the ipod touch 4g now?

the ipod 5th gen will come out and it will be released in september. it will not be like a a dramatic change like the ipod touch 3g to 4g. Many of the upgrades will be in the software, better camera, and maybe higher resolution screen.

To tell the truth no one really knows that will be on it, rumors have been that there will be a memory slot (doubtful), a new touch sensitive home button, gps, include a higher storage capacity (maybe a 128gb version)

It doesn't really make a big deal if you buy the ipod now or wait for the 5g. The 5g will not be 100 percent different. However the ipod touch 4g can support the IOS 5 software that will be released with the new ipod touch 5g so many new features can be supported on the 4g one.

You should just wait until the ipod touch 5g comes out. Everytime apple releases a new product, they are already talking about making another one. It's retarded how they don't let you enjoy your product for a good period of time until they release another one. But I would just wait until the newest ipod touch comes out which will be soon. Apple will always release new ipods, macs, iphones, etc so you will never have them all. They want you to feel outdated :/

the new ipod touch 5g is coming out in early september but apparently it isnt going to bemuch different to the ipod 4g, plus they will probably be at least £50 more expensive than the 4g.

depends how long you are prepared to wait, there are never huge differences when they make new iPods. I have the 4g and love it, but if I were you I would wait for the next one because it won't be that long 'till it comes out I don't think.

The new iPods come out in September, and are cheapest for the christmas sales. Wait.
