Can someone please help me help me wire my cd player in my car?

I had a similar problem with my car bestbuy told me I need a special wiring harness because my radio stays on when I turn off te car until I open the door. As long as you don't have onstar you can get the cheap o harness just look for one that has your cars make and model and year on it and you will be good. But if u get the cheap one and you were told what I was told. You will lose that radio staying on until you open your car door and you will loose a lot of your chimes but other than that it will work

If you have to.

Cut the plug off.

Do leave enough wire to reconnect so you can use it again later if you want to.

And just hard wire it to the above pin out.

If the DvD or radio doesn't have a plug.

You may be able to find one at a junk yard.

It's not a difficult task.
