Was Jesus a guru to the Jews just as Buddha was a guru to the Hindu?

    Most jews then treated him more as a goonu than guru.

    That was why, being smarter, Paul preached to non-jews and succeeded.

    Peter, James and John went down earlier than the jewish temple.

    No. "Guru" is not a concept with which the Jews would have been familiar.

    You could just as realistically ask if Jesus was a college professor to the Jews.

    A guru is a master who runs a gurukulam. (Place where the guru lives together with his students )

    A guru must be able to teach all the learning needs of a student. Apart from religion, cooking, arts, building shelters, self defense ect..

    1)So, there are not mush of information on Jesus teaching all such knowledge, thus he cannot be guru.

    2) Hinduism is more than 5000 years old, huddhism is about 2000 years old. does,t add up..

    No. Nor is there much evidence that he even existed. It's just mythology, people need something to believe in.

    no. Jesus had enemies among the jews. many saw Him as Rabboni (teacher).
