what if you just drank V8 for your vegetable servings?

would you get most of your nutritional requirements assuming you had an otherwise balanced diet? and i know the low sodium would be best, and assume fiber from other sources has the same benefits.

Fiber from non-vegetable sources? Is there such a thing?

Eating/drinking nothing but strained, boiled, and heavily preserved and salted foods ain't good, my friend.

You could do that, but even the lower sodium kind still has tons! You'd pretty much need to cut out all other sodium during a typical day.

I make my kids their own v8--mostly fruit and vegetables that are hardly noticible. They LOVE it and their doctor said she's never seen more healthy kids before. They never get sick and have very strong immune systems.

Try it--it'll help with fruit and vegetable servings. Unfortunately, it is easy to get too much calcium. My kids haven't had problems with kidney stones or anything, but my doctor warned about it.

I would be concerned about not getting enough fiber and missing out on variety. More variety=more nutrients.
