Religion is like a drug is it not? It's an addiction, major or minor, it's still an addiction and it makes people happy and it's only there to make people happy, is it not?

Ha ha Nooooo. Haven't you heard of the fire and brimstone before? Doesn't sound too happy to me. To believe in something doesn't necessarily lead to addiction. I believe clouds are cool and I like to watch them.. Does that mean that I'm addicted to them though I may look at them once a week just as someone may attend church once a week or even less.

Religion is the folly of mankind. It gives false hope to people who are too afraid to face reality, and it causes war, racism, sexism, hate, etc.
The world would be better off without religion. I mean c'mon! It's 2011 and people still believe in god, heaven, hell, the devil, ghosts and all that fairtyale BS.
Religion is a crutch for weak people to sum it up.
