I am Interested in Buying New Diggital Cam but my brother is saying we can buy Used Handy Cam we can also take still photos by Handay Cam.. Can you plz advise what is the difference.

A camera designed as a video model, for one thing, generally lacks flash for stills.
The standard definition handycam models have very low stills resolution often just VGA mode.
The HD models can have decent megapixel resolution.
