bentley flying spur vs mercedes s class?

I'm planning to hire a mercedes s350 blutec.

My question is, how is it compared to the flying spur?

I know the bentley is faster because I've driven it before and I haven't driven the s class yet, also the bentley is going to cost me an arm and a leg to hire as mercedes is much cheaper.

I'm only worried about ride comfort, is the bentley more comfortable than the s class or are they the same or is the s class more comfortable?

Thanks

Please be aware that you are comparing two cars of different classes.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is a full-size luxury sedan, and its rivals are the BMW 7-Series, Audi A8, Lexus LS, among others.

The Bentley Continental Flying Spur is considered as a superluxury car; and is in the league of the Rolls Royce Ghost, the Maserati Quattroporte, Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera.

That explains the price difference of the two cars.

To find out about ride comfort, its best to seek the views of motoring journalists under car reviews.

Perhaps you might want to Google "Bentley Flying Spur review" or something, or check out sites like www.whatcar.com, autocar.co.uk, or topgear.com (beware of its slight biasness).

I've ridden in my uncle's previous generation S-Class before; it was huge, and certainly luxuriously appointed. The ride is very smooth, too.

In fact, the present S-Class is commonly praised by motoring journalists as the 'best car on sale today', and being 'built to perfection'.

The Bentley is actually based on a Volkswagen Phaeton; but do not let that put you off, for the Phaeton is an extensively well engineered car.

What I'd suggest is that if you have got a wad full of spare cash in your pocket and don't really have anywhere else to spend it on, go ahead with the Bentley.

Its an exclusive and beautiful car.

Otherwise, you'd still be very well-off with the Mercedes S-Class. Perhaps the only thing which draws buyers away is its ubiquity, and the fact that rivals like the Lexus LS are better equipped, and the Audi A8 offers a better drive.

    Good luck!

Perhaps you would like to check the cars out at the showroom before making your decision.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is like driving a boat. It's huge! I feel like it is more of a car to be chauffeured in as a S-Class. But maybe thats what you want! The flying spur I feel like, it is a drivers experience as well as a passenger car. If ride comfort is the only factor I would go with the S-Class, due to the fact it is so big, it makes a very comfortable ride.

The Mercedes advanced car as a Bentley.

I'd get the Bentley. Maybe not quite as fast as the Benz, but who wants to go from 0-60 in less than 4 seconds anyway? Bentley will get you there almost as quick with more comfort. Also much more rare, a real attention getter.

I've never been inside a Bentley while driving but I've driven and been a passenger in many S-Class vehicles over the years. The S-Class is very smooth and comfortable.

I love my Mercedes S500. Powerful. Fast. Enjoyable. Comfortable. Cheaper price. Luxury. Sport. Beauty. Speeding tickets.

Depends on why you're renting it.

S-class Mercedes are relatively common, but the Bentley is very rare. If you can handle the price, get the Bentley. It could be tour only chance to drive one.

I would suggest you to get a Mercedes. It is as nice as a Bentley and comfortable and reliable.
