Where can i get a deadbolt to fit a 2 in door?

I have looked at Walmart and lowes and cannot find one. The only ones I see are 1 3/8 and 1 3/4 door thickness.

Most lock manufactures sell a 'thick door kit' for their deadbolts and door knobs, usually good for thicker doors up to 2 1/4".. Basically, they're just a set of longer screws/bolts that you use in place of the shorter screws/bolts that come with their regular lock sets. I don't know if the home stores carry them, but a locksmith should have them.

Hi Coryy21, this is Mike with The Home Depot.

Visit your local Home Depot. When you arrive just step up to the Special Services desk and the folks there can order for you extra long screws for your existing dead bolt.

Kwikset makes an extra long bolt kit for their locks the kit number is KW 81691. These will work with any Kwikset deadbolt lock.

If you have Schlage locksets, they made a special line called the B-60 series. These are designed for extra thick doors. They are available is several different styles and colors.

I hope this answers your question

Try 'Ace' Hdwe., or Home Depot, or a local hardware store. You may have to ask specifically for it.
