How often should i wash my makeup brushes?

Wash them once or twice a month! That's what a M.A.C. expert told me. If you never washed them, the bristles will probably be clumped together, which is definitely not good! Residue from expired makeup you had used long ago might contaminate your brushes! Take care of your brushes, especially if you paid a lot of money for them. (I did!) Any-who, I hope I helped! Wash them 3 times a month the ingreediants you will need;

fairy washing up liquid- for getting of any left over makeup/bacteria

olive oil- as the fairy washing up liquid is going to be stripping the hairs put olive oil on to contition (this will make your brushes soooo smooth!!)

and if you dont basiclly it is putting all the bacteria,germs, left over make up back on your face.

It can cause break out of spots, acne or even skin irritation-causing rashes.

I would say you should really wash them after every use (depending on how much you wear and how often). bacteria builds up and you dont want to get anything in your eye or on your face to make you break out or give you pink eye, especially if you share make up! I have gotten pink eye a few times because of it.

I wash the ones I use the most once by themselves and then all of my brushes(including the ones i use a lot) once a month.

i wash mine once a week, its probably more like 2-3 times that you should they get caked with makeup and bacteria so easily and you are putting that back on your skin

once a week the most. Just imagine all the bacteria you put on your face if you don't. They could loose their quality also if not cared for. Hoped this helped!:]

if you never wash them they will be dirty with all different make up on them it will be horrible i wash mine 3 times a week

Every time before you put on makeup.

The bacteria from left over makeup will give you breakouts.

Deep clean weekly.

Spot clean daily.

If you ever wash them you get more break outs as they just get more and more full of germs.

A couple of times a week

They will be full of bacteria
