what is wrong with my laptop?

i have a lenovo g555 laptop. when i turn it on it makes the regular starting fan noise but the screen is not on, then the fan turns off for about 1 second then it turns on at full speed for about 3 seconds all while the screen is still off, then it turns off. i know that i dont have any viruses because i dont go on the internet. there is a 1gb memory stick in it. i need this computer to be working. oh yah and the battery is fully charged.

Update:

OMFG ALL I HAD TO DO WAS PULL OUT THE PROCESSOR AND PUT IT BACK IN!!!!

    Do a system recovery/restore using built in system recovery or set of recovery disc made for the lap top or net book. Go to Lenovo customer support and look up user guide/manual for your model read section on doing a system recovery/restore.

    you need to turn on without any usb port plug-in unless you are trying to boot from usb drive.hope that helps.

    have you tried turning it on with out the mem stick plugged in?
