P = C/(1 + i)ⁿ * (1 + i)ⁿ⁻¹/(1 + i)ⁿ
Note : (1 + i)ⁿ⁻¹/(1 + i)ⁿ = 1/(1 + i)
The P = C/(1 + i)ⁿ * 1/(1 + i) = C/(1 + i)ⁿ+¹
(1 + i)ⁿ+¹ = P/C
1 + i = [P/C]^1/(n + 1)........i.e. the (n + 1)th root of P/C
i = [P/C]^1/(n + 1) - 1
