As a International student what fees do I have to pay the Canadian Government?

I am planning to go study in Canada soon not in a university because it quite expensive but maybe a college or polytechnic institution, I was just wondering how much money will have to pay the government of Canada to study in a college, I already know the tuition fees of my prospect colleges but I would like to know the Government fees.

Do I have to pay a certain amount every semester, or how does it work, please if anyone has any info on this I will greatly appreciate it.

You only pay the government directly for the visa and study permit application fees. Nothing to impact your financing plans in the big picture, it'll cost you a couple hundred dollars in total.

As aforementioned, international students pay higher tuition fees, but that's something depending on the institution you study at. Generally, the difference between Canadian and international student fees will be smaller in private institutions. Again, generally, the fees will be highest in big name institutions. If you already know for sure what institutions you'll go for, and how much they charge international students, that part is dealt with.

There are also additional costs incurred such as medical insurance, which Canadian government wants foreign students to have while on a study permit in Canada. They don't chase you to get it, but some institutions may ask proof of medical insurance before issuing you a student confirmation letter and so on. This is not a huge expense either, but since it recurs each month, it's worth planning for.

you will likely discover that 3/4 of a family individuals student's fee is subsidised, while a worldwide student's isn't, as a result the fee is thrice greater advantageous. Charging greater to make up the tax would not artwork; the tax is going to the government, while the college is the single that has to run the direction, and in the event that they are no longer getting any money from the government, the fee has to return from the student.

There is a processing fee, however there are international student fees which are a lot higher than regular fees. You are also limited in how much you can work.
