why do guys...video games 0.o.....?

Well, as a guy I believe it is just the competetive nature. Not many people would judge me as competetive but when I sit down for a match in a game such as Halo, or Battlefield, I want to win, It's about the glory of victory. Even if i'm the best player, with the highest kills and fewest deaths and my team loses I'm goin to get upset. Why this is... is just competetive nature, I want to win and I want my enemies to... well I better not type that, but you catch my drift. It doesn't alway have to be video games. Now, I'm not a very athletic guy, not fat or anything I just don't care for much sports, but even a game of dodgeball in PE i'm going to be very upset if I get out, but so relieved when my team wins. I Algeabra two years back our teacher was pitting one side of the class against the other with Math question duh. Anyway, my team just didn't care, but I seen a chance to make a comeback and I started getting really excited cause it was my turn to answer.

So to answer your question it's not just video games, it's not even just a guy thing it just depends on how often you engage in anything competetive, But ofcourse a guy is more prone to that thing and it really shows in most video games as most are competetive.

Would you expect someone to be passive while playing a game like Halo? Your acquired acumen of video game knowledge troubles me.

I guess they get in the heat of the moment, its kind of like us girls on the hunt for some good deals at the mall, I mean I have seen some people go crazy over a sale.

Guys are competitive, we were born competitive and its kinda what we to do get girls. Doing it on games and such will probably never get a guy a girl, but it's just the competitive spirit cannot be deactivated.

Alot of times i get pissed off because i feel cheated out of points or someone or something keeps killing/beating me

simple coz they want to win the game all guys like wining

Its an outlet of releasing aggressive feelings that can't let be relieved in mainstream society

I get mad, short temper. I throw my controller across the room sometimes lol
