What class drug is Sulfameth (Bactrim) ?

    As you have probably guessed, it's in the Sulfa family of drugs. The active ingredients are trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole, a very effective antibiotic against many organisms found in urinary tract infections, also intestinal infections, and occasionally pneumonia, particularly Klebsiella Pneumonia. .
