found out fired on facebook in kansas, is that legal?

Co- worker posted on facebook about job termination, didn't know until posted there, is that legal? can they really tell co-workers before the terminated person?

    That is just inappropriate way to fire or terminate someone using a social networking website such as the above mention facebook.
