Why would a person hope for something they can see now?

Hope that is seen isn't hope. If I hope for something I cannot see, then I wait for it.

Once I have seen it, then I need hope no longer.

    We have to have dreams(hope) to live.

    The day I lose that wonder... is the day I give up on life.

    When we are a child and even in our early 20's.. we have that wonder.

    we are hoping to find that fairy tale relationship... to have that home with

    the white pickett fence... children.. etc..

    You know.. There will always be hope. It's what keeps us going.

    If you see it but still can't obtain it due to existing conditions, you might yet hope to be able to get it someday.
