for the athiest that hate christianity?

I understand what you're trying to say. Christians can be so cruel. I'm a christian, and I don't like going to church to be around these people, but I have to keep telling myself they are sinners and they are still human. Satan is in the world right now using them to do all sorts of things they really don't want to. If everyone could just walk with Christ, knowing that it isn't the people we put ou r faith in, it is God but satan wants to veer us away from that thought. He will use anything to deter us away from that to discourage us and even use christians as a tool of his work. We should never put our faith in people EVER, only Him. I find this exceedingly harder and harder and harder to do. But this is what He wants, and this is the point. Seems like people and especially Christians are so mind controlled by what the leaders say they should do, instead of what God is telling them to do. They go about doing works trying to make themselves feel better and they need to be telling people about God. God is not a works oriented God, but all he wants us to do is trust in Him only. It is rare to meet a christian who really cares because they are tied up in works. The bargain bakery for the church etc... There are lives out there and people need to be heard and they are selling pastries to raise funds for other works in the church. I find often ladies in the church are so into their weight and it is so being used for satan, How they get so jealous of the women who are thin, it's so prevalent. I am a christian, and I like people who aren't even better. I don't like to hang w/this overbearing people who say have a blessed day, and seem so superficial and leave church right away to make potato salad for the BBQ w/the family. There are people out there with no family. I wish people would be less into their comfort, and less into themselves then they are. Especially christians.

We don't hate the people. I think you have that backwards. We do tend to loathe the belief system you employ however. Not because of you, but because of what it's doing to the world.

Generally, I have no problem with Christians. To they, their own; to me, mine. It's when they go and indoctrinate others into their simple mindedness that the trouble begins.

It's kind of like being Ralph in 1984 by one George Orwell. You see this big glaring problem, everyone ignores it, and / or becomes part of it, and you fear that one day, they're going to get you, and force it on you too. The difference is, we have the power to resist.

But why should we have to watch our world crumble back into the dark ages because a few archaic believers won't stop spreading their nonsense like a plague? Some of us, try to take the initiative, and help open people's minds to more logical assertions. We do this, because we know what's going to happen in the next decade if we don't.

We don't need an imaginary rapture to fear. A haze of idiocracy is already here, and we're on the front lines against it.

All this aside, what about the Christians that hate Atheism? My soul, my business right? So what's the problem?

I do take issue with the whole 'people that say they are true christians but then do evils things aren't true christians.'

Its seems a bit convenient that when presented with evidence of the many people who committed evil acts in the name of christianity or god, that every single one them was only a fake christian. Actually its more than a bit convenient. Its a crock.

Your religion (just like everyone elses) is full of people who are moral, kind and intelligent. It is also equally full of those who are petty, cruel, bigoted, ignorant and arrogant. But as long as they profess a belief in the god of Abraham, and call Jesus the son of god, they're a Christian.

ok, the first part, there are many christians (like the westborro baptist church) that preach, but then bully people with their status as a church, that explains that part.

next part i don't care if you are christian, if someone told me they were christian,i really couldn't give less of a ****, but when someone tries to tell me the know more about the afterlife than i do when they don't is annoying, as are people telling me that they know in my heart that i know god exists, even though there is no evidence, i mean people believe in zeus to the same extent, not just god.

EDIT - ok, let me explain something else, the bible is far from being a history book, it has been rewritten over and over countless times, it has been changed to suit people, that isn't a history book, there is nothing historical in the bible whatsoever.

If there wasn't a religion telling them to do these, then they wouldn't do them. It's not the people who are bad, it's the Bible. Doesn't the Bible itself teach "hate the sin not the sinner". In this case, the sin IS the Bible.

We dont "hate" christianity... We hate people that try to force their religion on us. You and all people have a right to believe what you want to believe and we have a right to believe what we choose. Everytime someone finds out my believes I am treated unfairly and I constantly have people trying to shove their bs on me. So yeah after years of torment and being treated differently, you can understand how people like myself would feel about religious people. But not all of them are like that. Just like race for example. Not all arabs are bad, but the majority of them are who we are at war with, so naturally we look at them all differently, not because we want to, but just human nature.

Religious delusions ( of which Christianity is one ) have caused nothing but trouble in the past, and continue to do so today. They are also holding back the human race from reaching it's real potential.
