If I use "ebay" in my business name can I get in trouble.?
I'm working on starting a small business were I sell stuff on ebay, and i was wondering that if i use ebay in my business's name can I can get in trouble for that.
I plan on calling it something along the line of "Carl's Ebay store" not final but im not sure how else I would get the word out in the name if I cant use ebay.

You may get in trouble for using Ebay's name, but not for using your real name. So if your name is Carl, and you call it Carl's store, I think you'll be fine. Don't quote me on it. You MAY need to file a DBA if you start calling it Carl's Tools or something, and you try to register a domain name.

From what I know, yes, you can get in trouble for this. Ebay is a trade name and if you use it, you will get a notice from Ebay's legal department sooner or later. Sort of like, Amazon.
