Is the Christian God just?

Person A commits a crime. Person B is found guilty and Person C is punished. I hope we all agree that this is not just.

Adam and Eve disobey god, everybody is guilty of sin and then Jesus is executed. Is this just?

Don't even start the free will argument. God decided everyone is guilty and then sacrificed Jesus, no free will there.

You're not only correct that this is unjust, for an all-powerful creator to endow his creation with an unavoidable propensity for what only it considers evil, but it is a downright wicked thing to preach and indoctrinate children into. If anyone can watch the BBC3 documentary "Deborah - 13, Servant of God" and think that this nonsense is fine to teach to children, they ought to be ashamed of far more than their supposed original sin.

First we must agree that the offspring of a couple normally share the same circumstances as their parents. If the parents are poor, the children inherit a poor upbringing. If the parents are rich, the children inherit the life style of the parents. Likewise, if there is a strong gene that runs in a man or woman, the children of that parent is likely to inherit that gene. In this case, that strong gene was sin. Sin is falling short of the mark of perfection. When Adam and Eve sinned, they fell short of the mark of perfection. Therefore, this mark of imperfection was passed on to their children. You can liken it to a bad jene that is inherited by a child from its parent.

Romans 5:12 states: "That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." Therefore, Person B was not found guilty by God. Person B is simply suffering the consequences of (Person A) its parents actions.

C who represents Jesus Christ was not punished by God. He simply acted under God's law by offering up his life to buy back for mankind what Adam had lost. At Romans 5:19 it states: "For just as through the disobediene of the one man many were constituted sinners, likewise also through the obedience of the one person many will be constituted righteous."

Is God a just God? Yes, he is. When Adam and Eve sinned, as represented by person A, God immediately put into action a means (Genesis 3:15), Person C, to save their offsping, Person B, from the results of the crime committed by their parents. God's great love for Person B caused him to watch as his beloved Person C was put to death by his enemies. This had to take place in order for the price to be paid to purchase Person B out of slavery to sin and death. God abided by his own law. (Deuteronomy 19:21; 1 Timothy 2:5,6) Unlike men who change the laws to suit their purpose, God, although having the power to do so, did not. How much more just can God be?

No, this is not free will argument, but this did not change God's original purpose. Why do I say this because at Genesis 3:15 God instituted another way which was the promise "seed" which represent "Jesus." Remember "GOD'S thoughts are higher than man thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8,9) This shows God's loving kindness toward Adam and Eve offsprings. By sending his "only begotten son" "who all things where created for him and thru him." (Colossians 3:16), showed how his son loved mankind and "he always wanted to do the things pleasing to his father."(John 8:29)

Adam and Eve disobeyes God, and God forgave them, but sent them to Earth to live. Everybody is not guilty of sin, in fact everyone is born sin free, and pure. Jesus was not sacrificed. A group of people tried to kill him, and God saved him from being killed, but to everyone else it looked like he died. Jesus is alive. he was not sacrificed for all of humanities sins. How in the world is it fair that one person is so victimized for all the murderers and rapists and sinneres of the world, and they all go to heaven? I don not think so.

p.s. this is all from islam. Dont jump back and say well in that case this is bull. Listen to your own common sense and knowledge.

It is Just, And how we may feel about it does not matter, For all of the children that are born from Adam & Eve after they have sinned are born into sin and suffer from the same sins their parents committed.... And I fully trust God and his decisions even if I don't understand them.........
