What kind of snake should i get?
Right now at the moment i have one bearded dragon and im about to get a bigger tank for him so im thinking of either sell the tank or putting a snake in it.
Its a 30 gallon tank.
I don't want any pythons or boas just smaller snakes.
I've had 4 snakes my whole life so i am very familiar with them.
One of them died of old age the other three i sold. So now i have a bearded dragon.
So my question is what kind of snake doesn't stink, need to be fed in separate container, and is not expensive. $50 max

Snakes really don't stink. The only way it would stink is if you don't clean the tank. A regular spot cleaning will do the trick. Now, for the whole feeding in separate containers thing, you don't need to worry about that either. People just do that so that the snake won't ingest any substrate. But many people have absolutely no problems when feeding in the tank.
$50 isn't much, and therefore you don't have that many options. You could get a Corn Snake, California King Snake, or a couple of Garter Snakes. If you were to increase your budget to $100 or so, that will open more doors. A lot of hatchling Milk Snakes are sold for about $100, African House Snakes, some Rat Snakes, Kenyan Sand Boas. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Go check out LLLReptiles or something like that. You can usually get some pretty good deals on reptiles online, or from private breeders. Better than petco/petsmart because they care for the animals better, and you know exactly what you are getting(genetics, age, sex, etc). Just be careful, if you buy online make sure you are buying from a reputable breeder, not some ordinary joe shmoe who no one has ever heard of.

I'm not sure how much these cost but I know snakes such as Corn snakes and rat snakes don't get as big as pythons and boas. At Leaping lizards Rat snakes range from £45 to £49 but that's in the UK and going by the fact that you're using the $ I guess you're in America so that isn't any good to you.

No snake stinks, no snake NEEDS to be fed in separate container, and you're price range looks like a corn snake.
The prey theyy eat also isn't expensive since they wont get very large prey.

I always had rat snakes, yellow or red. I also like king snakes, always liked their markings. They do not get as big as a boa or python, maybe 6 or 7 feet..
