I have a tank with about 12 fish in It and recently within 4 days I've had two bala sharks and 2 pictus catfish die. They have these weird white looking dots covering them it doesn't look like it's in or part of the skin it's like little tiny tiny pieces of rice connected to them. What is this? Any help would be helpful. I have 2 more fish starting to collect them help please!

Hi i have a 1 year old bearded dragon about a foot and a quarter long or so, anyways i am needing a new tank for him. He is in a 30 gallon at the moment. i have looked at a 50-55gallon tank and they all the same width of my 30 gallon but longer. will this work for my beardie? or does it need to be both wider and longer?

I have a 1 year old bearded dragon I'm going to sell because crickets are getting expensive to feed him. And i don't give him enough attention. I am selling him with a 30 gallon tank, repti-carpet, 3 large pieces of tile, large food dish, small water bowl, extra large shelter, 5 piece small wood decor., large hammock, XL lamp with 100 watt bulb (Lamp can dim),Large 10 gallon container for crickets, plus about 40$ of extra's. How much should i sell him and equipment? How much if they want extras?

Ive had my bearded dragon for about a year now and he is having problems. When he poops its extremely runny and seriously smells disgusting, makes a huge mess. And the skin on his head is turning from a yellowish color to a very white color but the rest of his body is yellow.

no abnormal behavior hes very energetic.

What i want to know is what could cause this? I would like all explanations not just what really is wrong with him. what are the possibilities?

I would like to know if I'm feeding him right and his environment.

How many crickets a day?

What veggies?

what light equipment?

One of them died of old age the other three i sold. So now i have a bearded dragon.

I have a few questions about me and my bearded dragon.

When do they reach their adult size how old and how big do they get?

when should i get a bigger tank i have a 30 gallon right now which seems perfect.

Are meal worms ok for feeding? I know they are not the best but they seem to help him get a gut. which he needs.

do i need to feed him calcium every day with the crickets?

Do infrared heat glo lamps affect his eyes? I use a infrared heat glo bulb on one small corner of the tank its a 75 watt and only heats about 6x6 inches with heat and light. My other 100 watt bulb is in a 150 watt maximum lamp which gets most of the tank with Uvb light.

Is regular tap water or bathtub water all right for soaking my bearded dragon? or do I need purified water? Thanks for all awnsers.

1 heat glo 75 watt on the other side of the tank gets one side to 84-87

What i do.................

i feed him 5 small crickets powdered in calcium, 3 giant mealworms and a bowl full of healthy vegies and fruit. (I use shredded apple and leaf spinich from my garden) ( i fully sanatize them) (every morning, and an occasion mealworm for a snack during the day

Behavior.......................

Eats all of his food with no problem

extremely active

clear eyes, full tail, aware and alert, like to climb and jump.

loves basking in hammick and wood hut

uses heat rock and heat glo bulb at night when i dim the sun glo bulb

he rarely goes in his shelter ( is that a problem?)

what i know...............

when he gets bigger ill need bigger tank, bigger lamps and stronger bulbs, 1 more thermometer, more vegies and fruit, and when he gets bigger ill feed more and bigger crickets.

Questions............

Do i need a hydrometer?

Is it too hot or cold?

Do I feed him enough food?

Do i have a good set up?

IS there anything important im missing?
