My bearded Dragon is having problems?
Ive had my bearded dragon for about a year now and he is having problems. When he poops its extremely runny and seriously smells disgusting, makes a huge mess. And the skin on his head is turning from a yellowish color to a very white color but the rest of his body is yellow.
no abnormal behavior hes very energetic.
What i want to know is what could cause this? I would like all explanations not just what really is wrong with him. what are the possibilities?
I would like to know if I'm feeding him right and his environment.
How many crickets a day?
What veggies?
what light equipment?
Please answer I'm about to sell him cause its hard to deal with.

Please join an online bearded dragon forum. You will be able to meet with lots of other really awesome hobbyists that can help point you in the right direction. Bearded dragon.org is a good one. You will be able to find lots of great information about good foods to feed, foods to avoid, how to set up their terrarium, etc...
Bearded dragons have some of the smelliest poop around, and it generally makes a mess. If your dragons poop has been smellier or more disgusting then usual, I would highly recommend bringing him to the vet, and get a fecal test done. Be sure to bring a very fresh sample of poop, and find out how they want you to store it until you get to the vet office. Some will want it refrigerated, some want it frozen.
Dragons tend to be carriers for Coccidia, which is a nasty little parasite when it gets out of control.
Go to the pet shop and pick up a package of BeneBac for Birds & Reptiles. Feed some of the gel to your dragon. He could just be having an upset tummy and this may help it. It's a pro-biotic, like the stuff in yogurt. I have fed this product to most of my collection, and it has done wonders.
I have dragons too. Mine are currently being kept in a 75 gallon tank, but will be getting a new CrossFire home made enclosure in maybe 2 weeks.
I have a MVB (Mercury Vapor Bulb) 160W for basking and UVB. It is good for up to 1 year
I feed Dandelion Greens, Collard Greens, Shredded Carrots for veggies (should be available daily)
I feed Dubia Roaches, crickets, and Hornworms for buggies (should be available daily if under a year, over a year, once a week is good. Feed however many they will eat at in a sitting)
The skin on his body turning color, could he be shedding? I know my dragons tend to get dull in color right before the old layer of skin comes off.

along with her no longer utilising her legs, evidently like metabolic bone disease. Are you utilising a UV bulb for her? UV bulbs help reptiles take up calcium and different supplementations. with out it, they gained't get what they choose. i does no longer have faith something Petco says, maximum those that paintings there and at different chain puppy shops many times have not got any thought as to what they're conversing approximately. Metabolic bone disease isn't reversable, yet you are able to preclude it from getting worse in case you exact preserve her by technique of giving her the supplementations and UV bulb. additionally, make beneficial she isn't hydrated by technique of soaking her.
