Why do some people here had/have months of sleepless nights and horrible nightmares because of me?

First, you shouldn't let them get to you to the point that it bothers you this much.

Second, there are some people who lack even the most remote semblance of a life. Creating such accounts simply to cause grief, well, it reminds me of something I heard once..... "Misery is only slightly better than death." These poor souls have reached that point in their lives. Perhaps it would be better to say that that is as far as they have been able to raise themselves about simply 'nothingness'.

I would say that the best thing to do is report such trolls. Why? They very commonly fail to either 1) ask a question (if posting a question) but simply rant, 2) actually do ask a question but fail to stick to the topic of the forum or 3) they fail to answer the question if responding to such. All of these are reasons for reporting abuse. Report it and move on. If others do not appreciate these trolls any more than you do, and also report them, the questions or answers will be deleted. This will not stop the trolls but it will annoy the living hell out of them.

Really? Maybe you're controversial. If you're having it here, the more you'll have it in sports. You don't want it there Babe, believed me. Trolls are in every section, you just have to live with it. Push the ignore button and make the block works.

Some people have nothing else in their lives they are boring, so they pick on other people on the web to make themselves important. Like you said they are cowards and cannot make it in the outside world.
