How do I grow out my 5 year old daughters bangs?
My daughter has pin straight hair and her bangs go straight into her eyes. I'm trying to grow them out but they don't want to cooperate. I pin them and it falls out, I sweep them to the side and they move back forward, I use small rubber bands and her hair breaks from them. Anyone have any good ideas that I haven't thought of? Thanks!

when i was younger ( i have pin straight hair ) my parents would help me by drying my hair to the side. when your daughters hair is mostly dry but still damp use COOL air on a hair dryer and take a rounded brush and dry it to one side or the other. naturally the hair should want to fall to one side and not the other this is how you no what side to put it too. if the doesnt work try using hair ties that are NOT rubber bands and do not have and metal in them.

Brush them to the side and spray them with hair spray. Use hair gel or ultra-hold mousse to get them where you want them to stay.
It's always a bear to grow out bangs, and super-straight hair that tends to drop straight into the eyes is the worst!

ok, i'm going to chew. i does no longer advise highlights for a baby so youthful. somewhat appropriate earlier beginning college! i think of a youthful baby has actual elegance without makeup, haircolor, and so on. definite, gown her precise, make valuable she's clean, provide her techniques for her coiffure, yet enable them to be age appropriate and HER thought. besides, many little ones have organic highlights somewhat in the event that they spend a great form of time outdoors, on the pool, and interior the solar interior the summertime. organic is often greater effective at this variety of youthful age. I say this as a instructor and that i'm able to inform you i've got heard different father and mom, pupils and regrettably different instructors communicate approximately youthful little ones (pupils) who come to college looking "overdone." does not be counted if it somewhat is hair, makeup, or clothing. greater effective to be somewhat conservative (she will nonetheless seem "cool" and be in variety) than to get a "acceptance" at this variety of youthful age. i'm conversing a pair of acceptance of being spoiled with an over-the-splendid confirm. enable her make her very own way along with your help, yet do no longer attempt to make up for what you probably did no longer have. good success!! on account which you extra to your question, i'm including to my answer! First, it seems such as you have already made up your strategies. So why ask right here? i think of it somewhat is on account which you recognize it incredibly is a foul thought and you're searching for justification. 2nd, giving your daughter each and all of the failings you probably did no longer have as a baby is in basic terms about the definition of spoiling her. yet of direction, she's sensible, appropriate, style and not spoiled. Huh. third, are you at present asserting she is BEGGING for highlights? if so, each and all of the greater reason to be a confirm and say NO. She is in basic terms too youthful and that's all you need to declare. you need to furnish her a purpose age, like "perhaps you may get highlights once you're in midsection college" or "perhaps once you're 13." UGH, for some reason i'm picturing your little woman with a lip ring and pierced nostril via the time she's 10.

You could take her to get a haircut. There they cutters might be able to make it grow out, and not stay like it is.
