There is a small, obscure cult in Belgium which lives by the strongly held belief that every religion is right except their own. They have a long standard prayer which boils down to "Lord, please forgive me for being in the wrong religion but I have to pray for forgiveness so much that I never have time to look for another one".

Anyway. "What I believe is the truth and everything else is lies" is the default human position.

Most believe that children are not held accountable to their actions or beliefs. They believe all children go to heaven.

Some turn that "Age of accountability" into "knowledge of accountability." The more you know about the Bible and your actions the more your held accountable for them. So they would believe that an 87 year old man that dies never knowing of the Christian God would still be saved.

As for whether Christianity is the right religion, I agree with you. To me it holds nothing more over any other to be more "right". It also has just as many contradictions as the Torah or the Qur'an.

I belive that all religions are right for the person who chooses them,for example if some wants to become a Buddhist then I believe that that religion is the right one (for them).My church teaches that anyone who believed in God and tried their best to be sinless but didn't hear much about Jesus or the Bible will go to heaven.Judaism and Islam are true religions to me whether a person chosses them or not.

People who ask this question don't really know where the origins of Christianity and all other religions began..

At least 99% of all religions are based off of what is written in Genesis, probably only 1% is based on something totally different..

A way to look at it is to look at the many languages we have, every language is based on the first language whatever that maybe, all cultures know that a up and down nod of the head means yes and a turn of the head from left to right means no..

Same with religion, every religion is based on the original truth, science will see this differently, but as far as theism goes there is only one truth, and as far as im concerned Christianity applies that truth and is that truth..

love does not over look the evil the unbelievers did

love punishes the wicked and evil who refuses to repent and turn from sins

yes god tells mankind to love their enemy

I don't believe that any religion is more right than another. It's is just what a person believes. If you are kind to others, then I think you'll be fine.

religion is merely a framework. God is the source.

so if you're wondering if my God is right and all others wrong? i'd have to say that there is only one God and that he is right...

The argument "I find it so hard to believe that one religion out of all these other religions is right" is not a valid argument for proving a religion is wrong.

Look at your contradiction here.If you want to say other Religions are right then you must call scripture wrong.The law of contradiction friend.2 opposite statements about the same thing cannot both be true.
