Three:
1999 Honda CBR1100XX
1982 Kawasaki KZ1100-D
1982 Honda XL500R
I want to get a light sporty twin, maybe an early 90s Ducati 900SS, a first gen SV650, or Hyosung. The purchase price will be about the same, and Im kinda torn. The Ducati is the most exotic, but also the oldest. Im thinking that might lead to an... involving ownership experiance lets say, that I may not even be able to afford. Im not crazy about the Suzukis styling or build quality. I kinda like the look of the naked early tube frame ones, but would want FI, so I guess Is get an S but Id need the lower fairing. And then the Hyosung would be neat because I could get a much newer example at the same price. But Im not too sure about Hyosungs yet. Certainly not the same panache as the Duck. And then with them all, Im concerned that 75hp wont be enough. The VTR1000 are cheap, but I hear they are squishy. I'd love a RC51 SP2 or a 1198S, but money.
I also want to replace the XL with something that has electric start and doesnt look like it got dropped out of an ariplane, landed on a mountain, and slid down before tumbling into a canyon. Im thinking KLR, but Ive never ridden one and Im not sure how much dirt ability (not to mention the lovely low weight manuverability that makes dualsports great streetbikes) Id be giving away, but then again I want some hiway prowess as Id like to do adventure style tourers. Finally Im not crazy about a liquid cooled dirt bike. I need more expriance in this relm to better define my needs.
The Blackbird and KZ will be around for awhile. If I replace the XX down the road (way down it) it will be when the BMW K1300 or 1600 depreciates to 5grand. Im not sure what Id replace the KZ with. Vmax? Valkyrie? Rocket III? Magna? XR1200?

A triumph america, Honda Rebel, and Kawasaki Vulcan 750. The rebel I ride year round and use more than the other bikes. The triumph is long and really good for the highway. Since I don't leave town much it doesn't get ridden very much. The Rebel gets 90 mpg and is fun around town. The vulcan is good for taking the women around town.

Two right now, but am looking to sell one of them. I've had as many as 5 road worthy bikes at one time.

Just two, a VFR and a DRZ. Most I ever had at one time is four I think, but they weren't all running. Not in the market, but if I ever run across a deal I will jump on it.
