When should I get highlights for my wedding?
My wedding is August 27th and I am scheduled to get highlights on August 9th. ( I have never gotten highlights) My hair does not grow very fast...Will this be an ok time so that they do not grow out?
it is either the 9th or the 25th since my stylist will be on vacation in between.

yeah thats a good time to do them because after you get highlights for about 2 weeks after there still lightening. And they should grow out for a little more than a month.

I think the ideal time is around a week before, but clearly this isn't possible, so I think you should go for the 9th, because if it goes wrong and your hair turns a funny colour (sorry, you have to look at all the possibilities), then the 25th would not give you enough time to sort it, but the 9th is. And seeing as your hair doesn't grow very fast anyway, they won't have started growing out anyway. I know that it takes around two months for the gap between your natural hair and the highlights to become obvious. Good luck with your wedding, hope all goes well!! (and I hope I helped! :) )
