Jobs that pay at least 200k?

It's my last year in high school and it's hard for me to pick a career path to follow because all the careers I want to do don't pay as much as I like. Can you list at least 5 jobs that pay at least 200k that are interesting....please don't say doctor or lawyer

Engineering, if you're in a desirable sub-field and develop a good reputation.

    Business:

-Entrepreneurship. Most businesses fail, and even those that succeed may not earn you an amazing take home salary. Responsible ownership includes only taking what the business can afford to give you, rather than the attitude that if you're the boss, you can do whatever you want.

-Working up the corporate ladder. Making it to the executive level of a company big enough to pay you at least $200k will take at least half of your working years, and it's still never guaranteed. Possible though, if you get yourself into a position where you deserve it.

Banking and investment. Overseeing bank operations, hedgefund management, etc. Being good at it pays very well.

    Professional entertainment.

    -Sports

    -Acting

    -Music

    -Other

If you get famous, you get money.

Real estate, but only if you become a great salesman or broker in an expensive area. You won't make that kind of money by selling ordinary properties.

CEO's of companies make that but they have to start out as lower level executives making $50-$80 out of college and work for many years and earn an MBA.

Nope, not even a lawyer makes 200k after he/she graduates from law school and passes the bar. Most doctors don't make that right after med school either. They get this type of salary after many years of experience and must excel at what they do.

So you got nothing that will $200k after college.

There is no career outside of major league level pro sports that guarantees a salary of $200,000 - and none where you will make $200,000 right out of college. Careers where you can EVENTUALLY earn $200,000 include business (management), engineering, finance (fund manager, stock broker, etc.), real estate (VERY good real estate agent/brokerage owner), software development.

Note that right out of college, you will be earning between $45,000 and $80,000 for each of these (except real estate agent which is dependent upon commissions/sales and does not need a degree) and after that, it is up to you to impress the bosses enough to get promoted.
