who owns magicjack phone service?
I am having a real issue with over billing and strange charges on my bill that some how just can't get straight threw "customer care" such as it is. Does anyone know where there physical mailing address is to the corporation? Thanks :-)
After much discussion over why I wanted it and the fact they can't give it out they gave me a
PO Box 6846 West Palm Beach, Florida 33405
address but I really want a place that I can physically go to and complain.
Does anyone have that information? A real building address not a metal box?
Guess I could go and stand there till someone comes to retrieve the mail...???
Seems to much like stalking and YES they suck!

magicjack used to be owned by YMAX
but it is now owned by VocalTec

Magicjack is sort of a shell company as it is.
The company that originally created it, YMAX, owned and operated the network...therefore they probably created this shell corporation (which is an LLC) to run the public face of the system..mostly so if soemone sues magicjack over bad customer service, YMAX isn't held responsible.
To add complication, YMAX last year merged with VocalTec to form "Nasdaq Global Markets:CALL".
But from what I can tell...these guys probably don't run the customer service aspect...they have something to do with it, but they're never going to admit that.
If you can't solve your problems, your best bet is to file a complaint with the BBB.

My Magic Jack Adapter is faulty after 6 months of use. The CHAT is manned by people who are OBVIOUSLY not from the U.S. They do not write like English-Speaking people. It's like being trapped on another planet. I've been on for over 6 hours during the last 2 weeks and they want to check my computer, my router, my phone. I've already done all the troubleshooting. However, each time I chat, it's the same routine. No one will answer the simple questions... "what is life span of the Magic Jack
Adapter and do you EVER replace a faulty adapter? " They WILL NOT ANSWER... they just want me to walk through the 1.5 hours with them to troubleshoot. Welcome to the twightlight zone.

I think magicjack is a company onto itself. Sorry dude no real address the I can find. I always have to question the legitimacy of a company that finds it necessary hide it's whereabouts.

I find Magic Jack is junk..Poor quality, flaky service....more of a 'toy'..!! Don't you think it is strange that a 'Phone Company' has a secret address or Post Office box.????
