Am I overweight for my height?

I'm a 16 year old girl, just a hair under 5'1, and I'm 123 lbs. Is that considered overweight? What would be my ideal weight?

I would say it's average. It depends more on your bodyfat level. Don't listen to whoever tells you to use the BMI.

BMI is actually very accurate unless you have a lot more muscle than the average person. While body fat percentage is even better, it is hard to get a proper measurement. For example, I have a scale which claims to send an electric impulse throughout the body to measure your body fat percentage. Well, my body fat is either 5%, 16%, or somewhere in between depending solely on whether I set my activity level to 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.

    tl;dr: No, you're not overweight.

105-115 is a good weight range. Your not over weight your on the heavy side of healthy. 105-130 is healthy.

you are NOT overweight or heavy. This is a perfectly fine height and weight. If you want to tone, tone. If you want to lose a few pounds, do it, but it is in no way necessary.
