Do you feel like Nickelodeon is being racially bias?
I've been watching Nickelodeon for years (yes, I'm an adult now), and I can't help but notice how the shows iCarly and Victorious are doing exceptionally well, but they decided to cancel True Jackson VP that ALSO had many viewers...to be honest I haven't seen a successful african american Teen Nick sitcom since Keenan&Kel...
SO help me understand. Is Nickelodeon being bias or is it just that Nickelodeon likes to give Dan Wrap's shows the most credit

Yes they are! I have noticed that too. They rarely showed True Jackson vp, yet Victorious, which is a new show, some how is on not as much as iCarly, but still it coming on more frequently, as TJvp is not even on anymore.
@king: Victorious only have the token black kid, and so does that ninja show. True Jackson was the only show where the star was actually black, and they stopped playing it.

I haven't watched Nick since I was 13 (I'm 16 now) so I don't know. But I have seen a few commercials and doesn't that 'victorious' show have a few blacks kids? And isn't there another show with some black kid being a ninja or something?
Source(s): Haven't seen the kid channels since I was 13 so I'm basically relying on commercials I have seen when clicking through the channels. - ?Lv 710 years ago
True Jackson actually isn't cancelled...I follow Keke Palmer on Twitter and she said that there are going to be more episodes, we just don't know when yet.
I don't think they're being racist. I mean, i'd like to see more black/spanish/asian/etc. people as stars of successful kids shows, but i don't think they intentionally hire mostly white people.

well i was actually thinking about this the other day and i agree. its all about the tainted mainstream media and the brainwashing of society. but whatever, it doesnt bother me, let the robots be winded...
bye :)
edit: yes, mattyJ, ur exactly correct. becuase a cartoon about a YELLOW sponge is the EXACT SAME THING as a TV SHOW with REAL PEOPLE who are either BLACK or WHITE. pretending something doesn't exist doesnt mean it doesnt. if i live in the desert and dont acknowledge rain, does that mean that it doesnt happen? think...

Wow, people like you and lover of life are the reasons why everyone thinks that more racial problems exist in this country than their actually are. Being sensitive over nonsense like kid shows. There was an episode where Spongebob was sun bleached so I guess they were being racist towards pale people, right? @Lover of life- if your so smart than why did they cancel Ned's Declassified School Survival Guides and the Amanda Show? I'm guessing they are racist against whites and prejudice against nerdy teenage boys :( boo hoo.
