Again, NO Rapture
Matthews 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Matthews 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Matthews 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
John 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
Matthews 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
How can there be THE ELECT during this time IF they went in THE RAPTURE?
Jesus returns on the last Trumpet. Satan on the 6th. The dead in Christ are on the right side of God in Heaven (non Christians on the left side). When Jesus leaves Heaven the saved will all “stand” is what the manuscripts say because Jesus and 10,000 saints are coming to earth to kick some butt. It was common for all to stand as soldiers went off to war. In fact, it’s still pretty much that way today. “Caught” is not in the manuscript. It is a bridge word. We do not go anyplace. When Jesus returns every knee will bow. Earth becomes Heaven. Everyone on earth will drop these clay bodies and the spirit body within us will be. Air in the Hebrew means breath of life air. The same air that was breathed into Adams nostrils. No rapture friends. It is not in the book. I tell you the truth if you have ears to hear. Don’t stone the messenger.

What about all the people who claimed they were Christians that would still be here? They'd swear up and down that it was a fake rapture and they are really Christians.
But to answer the question. If a rapture happened as the bible describes it'd give me a lot to consider.

Yes , when that happens. My friend, who a Christian has a nice BMW . He said I can have it after he gets raptured. I am now one of the few Atheists praying for the rapture to come.

No since the majority of christians here who post all the intolerance, hatred, bigotry and persecution will surely be going to hell and only the GOOD christians that believe in a loving god and act like it would go to heaven!
If that happened though, those of us left would be in paradise!

If all Christians were to suddenly disappear from earth, how would we know they had been raptured? Would there be an announcement of some sort?
- Anonymous10 years ago
Certainly. The only alternative explanations would be mass-hallucination, or all the Christians happened to quantum mechanically tunnel to elsewhere in the universe, both being less likely.

Your fantasies about a supervisory being whisking you away is laughable.
It is like a baby laying in its crib wondering when the pretty smelling creature with the big milk bags is going to pick it up and carry it through the air.

Believe or be apart of a religion? No.
It's a possibility I would believe there was a 'God' though so yes.
That wouldn't convert me though, I'd be happy all the religious people were gone to be honest, probably be a nicer world.

I'm not an Atheist, but if that were to happen I'd applaud, and jump for joy that all the Christians were gone. There just no now way I'm EVER going to follow Yeshua Ben Yosef or an Middle Eastern god. Nice try though.

I would think aliens came down and took human samples before I would conclude the fusion of Judaism and Paganism (Christianity) would the cause, unless they only took virgin men.
Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they remained virgins. (Revelation 14:1-4)
