What's the best place to get Real Estate Brokers License in San Francisco?
I don't mind going to classes but having an online option is great too. I'm looking for anyone who is a broker or in property management (what I want to eventually get into) I've also heard to get into property management you need to work in the business for 2 years? I work as an Admin for REIT company so I really feel this would be a better career for me to work to get in the door as I can work part time for now and then if it proves to be lucrative give up my day job. I don't mind sales I can be good at it but if anyone knows a great way to get into property management or being a broker would be great. My main concern is getting my license. I was thinking of going with Kaplan? but if it's cheaper would not mind going elsewhere looking for best education at decent cost. Any suggestions?

There are several places online that offer courses and testing for real estate brokers license. Definitely do a search, and compare prices. You probably should also check with the state authority that regulates business licenses in CA and see if they have a list of recommended schools for real estate licensing.
As far as getting into property management, you can start by applying for property manager assistant or tenant services coordinator positions. These are considered somewhat entry-level, and as a matter of fact, don't require a real estate license either. If you already work for a REIT, why don't you try and transfer to the property management dept? Even being an admin in that department will get you on the right track and give you a competitive advantage if an actual property management position becomes available.
If your company outsources the property management, then talk to some of your co-workers and find out which companies your REIT works with and see if anyone would be willing to introduce you. Don't tell them you are trying to get a job there, just that you want to expand your professional network. Good luck!

A somewhat one-of-a-kind point of view assuming you're speaking approximately leasing alternatively than funding income... While the marketplace downturn is hurting each markets, Sacramento has a rather steady tenant base with a fine quantity of state executive and GSA rentals. The executive and help constitution regarding that sector is much less risky to total marketplace fluctuations than the finance-heavy tenant base in San Francisco. While there may be a lot more product in SFO (at most likely bigger face premiums), a real recession will more often than not force up the sublease emptiness pulling all condominium premiums downward. All truly property is cyclical. However, given the extra component of the cut back price of residing close Sacramento, I might more often than not decide on that choice over SFO assuming the relaxation of the main points have been same.
