Hey there is a lot of bearded dragon information on the web from very experienced owners. The first step in being a lizard keeper is research, I have 3 lizards a bearded dragon, chameleon, and iguana. Before I got them I did at least 2 hour research on what I need first, then after when I started caring for them I had a lot more questions and did more and more research.
Here are some website that you can start on

It best to do as much research as you possibly can so you can have the most ideal life for your bearded dragon. Many people come on yahoo and ask for all the facts, its best to just find and compare, because there is a lot of unreliable information out there. An example is bearded dragons absorb water from their skin, no they don't and iguana don't either. The care tip I will provide you with is that you will have a healthier and more active bearded dragon if he is successfully drinking water. They don't get enough hydration from their captive food and since they can't see their water dish they can't drink.
Here is a good video to teach them to drink

Most bearded dragon's lick the water droplets from the side of the cage but many do not, if you use that method you need to make sure they are drinking, believe me it makes a HUGE difference in the activity of your pet.
