Does it hurt to get your lip pierced?

No, I got stung by a bee once on my chin and that hurt more. It really doesn't hurt, it's like a quick pinch for 1/4 of a second, then the pain is gone. Afterwards, it only hurt a little when I messed with the lip ring. Make sure you get it done professionally because there's a real risk of infection and scarring if they do it wrong.

Everyone has a unique pain threshold. All I can suggest is you pinch your skin really really hard there and see how you deal with that pain, when my friend got hers pierced she said she felt was a sharp pain that lasted about 5 seconds then that was all.
