Please help me find a speaker system?

Alright, I have this reciever, http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Yamaha+-+675W+5.1-Ch.+... And I really want to get the full use out of that, so can anyone help me find a 5 speaker setup that would use a lot of that power? Preferably with a sub.

Well I don't think you want speakers that will "use" a lot of power, I think you mean speakers that can "take" a lot of power and I'll digress on that. The Yamaha receiver's power rating is 135 watts per channel at 10% total harmonic distortion. Once distortion gets up to 10% you are going to hear it. So that's a fudged power rating. I would say that at a more conservative distortion / power rating which a higher quality manufacturer would publish (0.5 or lower) the power rating would be around 85 watts, so you really don't have a high power receiver there despite the claim of 675 watts. Given that, you don't really need speakers that can take a lot of power. Using a speaker system with an active subwoofer and setting the Yamaha's internal crossover properly will give you more effective power because most of the power is in the bass frequencies. So, were I you I'd choose some fairly efficient speakers with an active subwoofer the latter having an amplifier of at least 100 watts. Onkyo makes such systems which you can get as a package deal as does Polk, Klipsch and a lot of other manufacturers. The better speakers are made by companies that specialize in speakers or make only speakers. Ergo, companies like Sony, Bose and Yamaha don't make the best speakers. Your listening habits, size of your room and aesthetic sensibilities come into play when choosing speakers so either read unbiased reviews or go to a shop that will let you listen to speakers before you buy them.
