Because it is easier for people to believe than to challenge the opinion of the prevailing authority- and most people like an easy life!

u r an individual that can make opinions that u think are proper ones,listen not a person on thiis planet can make u believe in anything, use this asset the best way you think, and you will discover for yourself about the merits of others and if r looking for something to believe in forget it, you are forgetting that others are not so desperate to find things, they are using their free will and r happy most of the time with the outcome of things they have decided on, u don;t need to believe in anything other than yourself. that brain of yours will guide you, so do not be so fast that u have to believe in anthing, you will decide that, and pleased don;t be bullied into believing others, ......choose your own path
