Is a $25 gift certificate enough for 2 people at a restaurant?

It depends on where you go and what you get. $25 can be enough if you spend the gift certificate wisely. Sodas are really expensive at a restaurant. More than likely sodas alone will add roughly $5 to your bill. If you get any appetizers that will also add to the bill, as well as any dessert or alcoholic drinks.

However, if you each get a meal around $10 and drink water it will be perfect! I still would make sure to make your debit card and/or some cash on you just in case! :)

My friend and I went to a buffet last week and the cost was $22.01 ( the price of 2 buffets and 2 sodas )

i would bring an extra $5-10 to be safe

Like the other answer said, it all depends on the restaurant, and what you want, and how big is your appetite. I would have another $20 just in case.
