How to catch someone running into your arms?
I'm a girl and I love when I run into a boys arms... you know, like JUMPING into their arms. I'll run at them, then jump sideways-ish so they catch me like a bride <3
HOWEVER, I also love CATCHING people when they run at me and try to jump into my arms. I can do it with a couple of my friends, but I am not sure which way I'm supposed to catch them. Arm my arms supposed to be already out... am I supposed to bend slightly? My leg position?
I'd love some tips, heck, even VIDEOS would be good.
If it matters, I'm 5"1, 15 years old, and weigh 125-130.
The friend that loves to run into my arms is about 120lbs. : DDDDDD
P.s. Am I strong-ish [arm-wise] if I can carry around someone that is over 100 pounds? Or am I still a weak little girl?
P.S.P.S.
I'm asking this question like so because I want to make sure I don't do my body too much harm or put the person or myself in danger when I go to catch them. Thanks!

Yeah, not really sure where this question would go... but it seems like the right category!

Just stick your arms out right in front of you, palms facing upward and have your elbows slightly bent. Your legs should be a little more than shoulder width apart (more so if the person is umm "larger" than you think you can manage" Make sure you don't lock your knees thats about it and brace yourself before they actually land in your arms.
