how to forgive an evil co-worker?

she was snide and mean to me for 17 years, as she was to almost everyone who wasn't in a position to help her professionally. i became sick and eventually retired on disability, but while still working she constantly made comments about my just being fat and lazy, and tried to get me fired b/c i missed a lot of work at the end (after working there and being a well-liked and skilled employee for 18 years). she would laugh at me behind my back with our new boss, and did many things to make my life miserable. i do have a lot more education than her, but she made good money herself. i don't know why she did the awful things she did, but most importantly, i need to forgive her so I can move on. the same thing with the boss, who joined in with the ridicule and "mean girl" antics. how do i forgive them? coincidentally, i'm happy now (although quite ill at times) and make a good retirement pension. i still just can't seem to get past it. how could they be so mean? how do i forgive and forget?

In Matthew 6 it reads the example of The Lord's prayer "Our Father which art in Heaven... the most famous of all prayers in scripture which no one would pray "If' they understood the "Condition" to answered prayers The Lord Himself gave within that prayer notice verse 12 God forgives us our debts [sins] "AS" we forgive others, God uses our way of forgiving to forgive others and verses 14 and 15 trespasses which are sins done to you and i on purpose are also to forgive those, the way we forgive is by looking at the nailed scared hands of Jesus who when He went back to Heaven instead of His Divine body [Matthew 1:23 Jesus is "God with us, Isaiah 53 tells us of Jesus being God also] to become one of us. to offer us salvation who said Luke 23:34 for The Father to forgive you YOUR sins as you know not what we do. The Lord gave His life to forgive You your sins once you understand what Your sins has cost God perhaps we can be a bit more understanding of others. www.vop.com on line bible lessons, www.bibleuniverse.com on line bible.

People like that are very insecure. I would suggest writing them a letter explaining the way they made you feel and give examples. Then end your letter by stating that you have forgiven them and wish them well. Then tear the letter up and throw it in the trash...it's in the past, let it stay there. Forgiveness benefits you more than anyone else, and if you are Christian it is required.

    It depends on your religion.

Islam, the most prevalent one, probably recommends that you kill her. So, since its the biggest religion, maybe you should bury her up to the chest and then throw rocks at her until she dies. That would assure that you're a brainwashed barbarian with no respect for human life... a true muslim...
