How do you lower your cholesterol?
I get plenty of exercise, I try to eat healthy, I don't smoke and my cholesterol is still high.
I spoke to my doctor and he gave me some crestor. The side effects are scary. There must be healthier ways of lowering it.

Well, Im only 18, so I dont really have to worry about cholesterol yet hehe, but my grandparents have bad cholesterol and high blood pressure, and he takes Ginkobaloba (Im not sure if thats how you spell it), and exercise. Cut back on the sweets and really fatty foods to. If nothing seems to work, Id look into some prescription meds.

You can also buy a home cholesterol monitor to test yourself every month to see how your lifestyle changes are helping.
