I see many people saying that it's "too late" for that. I'm going to say the opposite, I think this is the perfect opportunity to give him the World Title for atleast a month. The push that he is getting now, is the greatest push of his 15 year career. Mark Henry has never been so dominanent before. Imagine someone as dominant as Mark Henry as the World Champion...I think that would be 3 or 4 weeks of entertaining programming. I'm enjoying Mark Henry's heel run right now and I hope they continue to push him.
Let's have a quick look at Henry's 15 year career:
-Early Days (1996-1998) - Henry was new in the WWE and was in a short feud with Jerry Lawler. Yeah he was feuding with a future Hall Of Famer but Lawler never won a championship so yeah that didnt do much to help Mark Henry.
-Nation of Domination (1998) - Henry was a member of this stable for a few months before it disbanded. Mark Henry didn't do anything that is worth talking during this time. He was just the big man of the group, playing the bodyguard role i guess.
-Sexual Chocolate (1998-2000) - I remember Mark Henry the most during this time. His gimmick was that of a big, "sexy" black man. It was during this time that Henry was in an on-screen relationship with Mae Young. His character here was just "entertaining" and nothing else. Henry was very weak as the Sexual Chocolate. He was awarded the European Championship and lost the title a month later.
-Worlds Strongest Man heel run (2003-2007) - It was in 2003 that Mark Henry started his Worlds Strongest Man gimmick. He damn sure showed a lot of strength during this time but he was still a joke to me because he lost a lot of his matches. I saw him get DOMINATED by Brock Lesnar,Goldberg, Undertaker etc.
-Worlds Strongest Champion (2008) - This was when Mark Henry was the ECW Champion. He was pretty impressive during his 3 month reign as champion but we all know that the ECW roster was filled with midcarders and jobbers. After he lost the title he wasn't so dominant anymore because he failed to win the title back.
-Worlds Strongest Man baby face run (2009-2011) - He turned face when he defeated then WWE Champion Randy Orton (who was a heel back then). I thought this was the beginning of another push for him but he ended up becoming a big time jobber. Henry never looked so bad before. He lost most of his matches as a baby face. He was the biggest joke on RAW.
-Heel turn (2011-present) - Now he is actually believable as the Worlds Strongest Man. Now he's dominant like it should have been. He has never been so dominant before, taking out both Big Show and Kane and also pinning Randy Orton.
NOW is the time to give him at least a one month title reign.

I am unsure because there is a side telling me Henry will be champion but at the same time, another side is telling me maybe 2012. I want to see Mark Henry become world champion but I think it is too late for him. WWE spoiled the World Strongest Man gimmick by not giving him a world title, mainly because he has been underestimated by the WWE

I don't really expect it, the talent is a little thin on SD! and all, but I think if Mark Henry was going to win a world Championship it would of happen a long time ago, not this late in his career!

No. It is a little bit too late for that now. He should have won a world title mid-way in his career as he said he is signing with WWE for seven more years, meaning that his contract expires on 2013, so I think its too late for him now. I think he should aim for the United States Championship or Intercontinental Championship, so his career can be mixed ingredients of championships he has won.

I see him getting a possible title shot at the end of October at the PPV Vengeance. Possible champions at the time would have to be Randy Orton, Christian and Sheamus.
