Help! I need working moms advice.?

I just had a baby almost 7 weeks ago. I am starting work back and dreading leaving my little man. He's not going to a daycare he's staying with my mom and my bf dad back and forth when I go back. I work night shift 12hour shifts. I'm just so worried somethings going to happen or he'll cry and just want me (he has done that before cried and just wanted me to hold him close). I'm so sad and so nervous. How did you as moms leave your baby to go back to work again? I 'm going to be an emotional mess my first day. The only good news is I only work 3 days a week. I still need some advice. Thank you all in advance.

I'm sure his grandparents will do great. I stay at home with my daughter (3 months old) for 5 hours every day. It isn't easy but people always find a way to make the baby happy. Whether a swing, or a bouncy seat. Though mommy might be the easiest remedy for the baby when the baby cries, there is always another remedy.

I feel for you :( I am a working mom of 3 kids but luckily my daycare is 2 mintutes from my work so I go there on my lunch and my 2 breaks to spend time with them and feed my twins. It's hard, it's always hard but at least you work the night shift while your baby is (hopefully) sleeping. Take pictures with you to work, call and check on him, and just remind yourself that you are doing it for him.

it never easy going back to work. i hated it, before i started i took my daughter to my moms at least 3 times a week for a few hrs at a time just so she could get use to being there without me. It did make the whole process little easier but its still hard leaving a new baby. also take baby's favorit thing to sleep in, swing, playpen, bouncer. goodgood luck
