what should my friend do she cant decide?
i have this friend who met some one on a website.long story short they became very close and really like each other but their is one huge problem.the person who my friend dena is talking to has revealed his self to her.but she cant bring herself to show a picture of herself.dena is over weight and very insecure but she really likes this person and fears rejection once she is seen.they both get along well and like each other but this dilemma is in Dena's way.i told her that looks don't matter but lets not lie to ourselves looks matter alot especially to teen.this person has said he does not care.she is debating rather to end it so she can save her self from rejection or to keep on as is
she does not want to end it the love word has been tossed back and forth and it would hurt her so much to experience rejection.she does not deny his love for her but we both don't think that love is enough.doesn't there have to be some sort of outer attraction to make it work.

She should just show him a picture, if he is shallow enough to care about how she looks, then he is not going to be the right one for her. The right one will love you at your worst as well as best, and if he is hooked on her personality, there is a good chance he wont care about how she looks.
Take her shopping, by something cute, take a photo and ship it out =]

Ouch that is tough. You're right looks do matter whether you are a teen or not. Being overweight less so than whether the guy likes her looks. Because she is overweight I would tell her to do two things. Get really dressed up top to bottom and get a really good photo or two. Then send those.
Some people can send pictures of themselves right out of bed and look amazing. Megan Fox for example. For us mere mortals we need all the help we can get and she needs to see how good she can look when she gives herself a chance. It can't hurt. Worst case he does not like her but it may be just that he does not like her looks and her weight is not the issue. Best case she looks hot and he's all over her. How does she know unless she tries? If she just quits she'll always wonder and that is no fun.
Tell her to be courageous there are plenty of smokin' hot girls that are overweight but if you are overweight you have to spend 10x as much effort looking good is all. Best of luck!
