Well at least the club will hang onto Taylor Walker now. that's only happening because Neil Craig stepped down as coach. so that's why young gun Phil Davis is off to Felafel land.

It might have been a rumour. but they did announce it on Fox sports at about 8pm last night. they were very definite that it was going to happen.

The main talk in the East is coming from Eddie, that the Giants are cheats, he wants the AFL to look into what has happened, some sort of an inquiry.

Two centre half backs gone in 2 years, it makes it tough for a young side like the crows who are trying to rebuild a side.

Eddie is right, what has gone down is a blatant (not surprising, but blatant) breach of the guidelines that were set. Chiefly no player nor players manager can be approached before the end of the season. In Davis's press conference he said he had to think about it for a long time.... begs the question when was he actually approached does it not

compensation...can you really get FAIR compensation for a ypung player who has proved himself to be a future required player at the club?...

Draft Picks??...Well we all know the crap shoot the draft can be..

Young Talent??..Considering that GWS is a new side and poaching other clubs young talent I doubt they're really gonna be up to give up another prospect for another...

Draft day trade??..Maybe..makes a bit more sense, maybe GWS can draft an uncontracted vet player from another club and ship him to ADL, but with ADL going through a new youth faze as well...

tough loss either way you look at it..but we must get used to it as the Free Agency beast has now arrived to the AFL..
