What do you think about welfare and government hand outs?

I live where most everyone gets some form of government money for doing absolutley nothing if it's just welfare, dumb checks, disability checks, food stamps, government assistance on electricity bills and not only are these people stupid and lazy but they pop out kids like nothing not paying for there hospitol bills and then gets rewarded with a larger checks and foodstamp cards that you can tell because there grocery cart is loaded down with the largest packs of pepsi and these people are more then able to work.

During the entire administration of George W. Bush, the Iraq war cost a total of $622 billion, according to the Congressional Research Service.

President Obama’s welfare spending will reach $888 billion in a single fiscal year--2010--more than the Bush administration spent on war in Iraq from the first “shock and awe” attack in 2003 until Bush left office in January.

I thnk in theory its awesome for times like this... but I think the whole economical depression was created to begin with. I personally believe the current rules and regulations makes it easy for any one to get on it and STAY on it. Why try to do better or be succesful when provided with bare minimum to live by from handouts?? You maintain a decent job and get paid more and you then have to stop taking away handouts... who doesn't like hand outs??? Then this carries on to their sense of personal achievements in life and then its the norm to be nothing more than below mediocre to get freebies. Why enlighten your life when you have a sense of entitlement from government programs.
