why do jehovah witnesses dislike churches?

"Dislike" - no, that's not a strong enough word. I hate the churches. Jehovah instructs us to hate what is bad. The churches are bad to the very core, promoting false demonic teachings, if not the actual lurking places of demons. They support wars, politics, satanic and political holidays, and everything worldly. Jehovah is going to have these churches destroyed, why should I want anything to do with them?

I am a business owner/contractor, and turn down business from churches on a regular basis.

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Our Kingdom Halls we build are not business nor are we business owners of it. It is simply a place of worship to our God Jehovah. But there are some Jehovah' Witnesses that are owners of a business.

We do not work for churches. Our work is based upon helping each other or helping around our Kingdom Halls. The churches have their own religion and would want to preach to Jehovah's Witnesses about what the Bible says and they contradict the Bible and themselves. The preachers or religious leaders don't really teach from the Bible. They always put their input or opinion on the Bible. Whereas Jehovah Witnesses our information comes from the Bible. We reason with people from the Bible and also we use facts about what's going on in the world.

We speak the truth and shed light upon it. We do not hide the truth like churches do. You will see in time that the churches hide the truth from their members, confusing them. When Jehovah's Witnesses work we do our work based on volunteering. We give our time and effort in everything. If were preaching door to door or on the streets. Building another one of our Kingdom Halls. Helping people in need whether young or old. We work together as Jehovah Witnesses. When volunteering we do not ask nor expect money to be given to us for our work.

Why would we do work for places we find morally and spiritually objectionable? Why would anyone?

We know the churches have mislead masses of people over the centuries. What is especially bad is many of the clergy knew they were wrong, but did it anyway. Particularly loathsome. A few US businesses did business with Hitler. It becomes much the same distaste that congers up.

The Bible plainly states the only source of life is from Jehovah God with his approval. Yet the churches go about claiming any sort of vile belief is fine just as long as their money keeps coming in. This is not simply denying what is written as simple plain statements in the Bible requiring no interpretation. They go further in promoting what no one could see as being approved by God.

Clearly they try to promote themselves as being for Christ or in some cases, replacing Christ. Yet clearing despise everything he taught or stood for. What does that make them?

So why would we want their money? Would that not make us as bad as they are? In taking their money no matter what they do, how can this be following Christ or pure worship of Jehovah?

For instance, the most basic thing is the personal name of God, Jehovah. The churches all claim objection to the use of that name. It appears to sting like hornets at the very mention of it. Yet their sacred King James Version they claim to revere, lists that name 4 times in its pages. As it was written in 1611, no one can claim Jehovah's Witnesses put it there. Yet you will not find any who teach it to their people. When they put out a REVISED King James Version, they made sure those 4 times left over from the more than 7,000 times originally found in the scriptures were totally removed. Is not revising the translation into modern languages exactly what they objected to concerning the New World Translation?

It is written Jesus stated not everyone calling out, " Lord! Lord!", would be acceptable to him even though they did many good works in his name. Just as they claim everything is done for and with the name of Jesus. Yet they fail to, as Jesus said, " to do the will of MY FATHER who is in the heavens". (Matt. 7:21-23)

Yes, they do bake sales, pancake breakfasts and clothing drives. But they never teach true spiritual solid food to nourish the people. Only giving out watered down milk of God's word, the Bible.

So why would anyone NOT dislike these churches?

1 Corinthians 1:10  Now I exhort YOU, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that YOU should all speak in agreement, and that there should not be divisions among YOU, but that YOU may be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought.

As far as your question, when talking about false religion we take the warning found at Revelation 18:4 very seriously.

Revelation 18:4  And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues.

It's not a matter of "dislike" we do not want to work for organizations that we find objectionable.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses I have to respect my conscience and I cannot take my money from an organisation that I feel is morally, spiritually, finanacially or legally corrupt as this would represent support in some way.

all places of worship are corrupt. yep, even the Kingdom Hall! JW's are being misled all over the place and have the gall to criticize others. That is why JW's are only allowed to get their information from their controlling Governing Body. Sad when you don't even know about the lies you are being told because you are not allowed to go and read about them.

The God of the Bible says not to intermingle with other religious organizations.

We won't work for a prostitution house neither.....cause we are not agree with what happens inside.

the bible teach that if a religion get involve in politics and support wars....is like a prostitute...cause it is mixing with goverments and Revelation 17 says that is incorrect.
