How many useless three letter Federal agencies can you think of that America would be better off with out?

it would be easier to make a list of agencies that should be KEPT (but severely reformed)

FDA and SEC would be good to keep if they didn't work for the very interests they were SUPPOSED to be regulating. Right now we'd be better off without them.

The rest of them can just go away.

IRS, FTC, EPA . The rest require a computer print off. Does this include the agencies and committees that duplicate the same job or the ones that have a desk with a person in a city federal building that sits by a phone on a desk and when you visit has no idea how to help you ?

What Products or Services provided by the Federal Government are you willing to Pay for?

We can cut out about 80% of all the Redundant Bureaucracies and get those overpaid Government employees off the dole and back to work in Real jobs where they will produce Real services that are a benefit to all of us. Then they will pay Into the tax pool rather than being parasites suckling the life-blood out of the American Economy.

Few Government jobs provide anything we really want.

Most of what the do produce could be provided by private enterprise at lower cost.

The exceptions are few.

Getting the FCC Propaganda Machine out of our lives may change perspectives greatly.

IRS - A simplified tax system would be better in all ways and require minimal administrative efforts.

DOE - It was started in 1980. Before 1980 we didn't have a federal DOE. So why exactly do we need one? That's not to say that education isn't important. It's simply pretty clear that the federal DOE isn't necessary. Let those education-related decisions be up to individual state governments.

AMTRAK - Why again is government still owning/running a railroad company?
